Sabine loves to dress up! Here she is in one of her creations: two tutus, 4-5 bracelets, pink shirt, and mom's shoes. This outfit is toned down a bit from what she would normally wear to daycare...Max and Sabine still love to do the computer together! We got a new chair and measured to be sure they both would fit - now if they can just stop growing. Ready for dancing class, Sabine?
Our last trip to the cabine had great weather, but a little rain. We took a walk at Big Trees forest and the kids made it through about a mile. Sabine did great until the last 4 minutes when she fell in the mud. In her white dress no less!

Max loves to try to read signs; as he was sounding this one out, a lady walked by and read it to him...sort of clueless. Max just said, "oh yeah, thanks." The stick he is holding was THE stick for the entire walk :-)
How do they learn this so quickly?

Max made friends with a squirrel. He was reallly disappointed when the squirrel would not let him pet it. (Oh man, he runned away!)

Wow Max!
Come on Mom! Catch up!

Happy Halloween!
Sabine wore her costume for 5 days before the big day! This is Thursday night pumpkin carving.I think she is happy...Tinkerbell and Spidey had to check their look in the mirror before we took off! Such a big girl!
Max had to do a lot of web-slinging to get us around to all the houses before the rain chased us in!

Candy brings us closer together. Thanks Aunt Kelly for the fun treat bags!! The kids carried them around all week and they were roomy enough to hold a sippy cup, a binky, a crown, and a scepter (and some of Sabine's stuff too!).

Max and Sabine loved carving pumpkins, and checking them out later!
Did you guys have fun?I'm gonna eat it all!!
What a jokester! When we try to explain to Sabine that she is getting a little old for her binkies - it usually backfires.

The summer was so busy that I never got to share Max's swimming lessons! Max and Rylie took lessons at Consumnes river College together and had a blast! So on the second day a mom says, "I heard they go off the diving board on the last day." My stomach seized up as I relived the stress of every scary situation from my childhood and pictured Max scarred for life from being thrown off a diving board. Then I chose not to believe such a stupid woman...

..and then the last day came and the teacher marched the kids out of the pool in a single file line, and lined them up over here.

There goes Rylie! I do not have a still shot of Max, only video. I wanted to have it all on video tape for my lawyers. I was too ashamed to run down there and yank him out of line. But I do believe that the video is a bit shaky.

High five awesome kids!

Yea! for summer!!!

This is video of Max reading to Josh. Josh had the flu and Max went in to make him feel better. It is 7pm and Max has Green Eggs and Ham. He owns the book in Spanish and English - so if you stick with the video towards the middle, he starts to switch back and forth between "reading" in Spanish and English!

Sabine is playing with coins and stuffing them in her pockets.

Last night I was putting Max to bed and he didn't want the books I was offering because he "couldn't read the words inside." What a cutie!

Good morning Max! How is your breakfast Sabine?
Sabine has a big girl bed that she is very proud of. In fact, we rearranged her whole bedroom this week - taking out the Changing table to give to Trent and Bre!!! Sabine enjoyed moving it out ("I'm a strong geerl!") and moving in her kitchen. She just sat on her bed when we were done and admired our work :-)

Yoga Boys: Max and Pop like to practice yoga together. I think Max really likes the names of the poses (downward facing dog...that's funny!)
Max and Sabine know that team work is the key to success. Max mans the mouse while Sabine cheers him on! Here they are doing Playhouse Disney - Sabine is holding "her fwends" (a card advertising party rentals of adults dressed as Dora, Pooh, Scooby, Elmo, Mickey and the like). We took the kids to the County fair a few weeks back - They loved the rides and both kids were tall enough to ride a lot of them! Here is Max driving me around in a truck (he made me sit in the trunk!)
Peek-a-boo guys!
They are riding in the belly of a lavendar Dragon...who is Max waving at????
I have no idea.......
I just walked in at 6:30am and found this!
I guess it was a rough night.

We really did go to London - - just never really got caught up! I hav ebeen behind for three months. Craziness! This is one of the better pictures of our london tour, with Big Ben and the London Eye in the same frame :-)
All four of us slept here for many nights and many rib kicks :-) max and Sabine did not have too much trouble sleeping!
Well-rested and ready to play! Sabine is in her Ireland shirt and Max is in his Secret Agent shirt that we found in London - I am sure 007 shops there too!
I will try to get back to the blog :-) Thanks for looking!
